Day 20
It’s Thanksgiving, and I really have a lot to be thankful for. I am very lucky to be having dinner with my in-laws, so there isn’t any pressure to eat everything in front of me. Whenever our family has gotten together there is always food and lots of it. This year was no exception. 13 dozen rolls, and 15 pies, 2 turkeys, plus potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, jello, and tons of snacks, like cheese and crackers. I am so proud of myself, this is the day that worried me the most and I planned in advance on cheating this day. I did, but felt great in doing so. My plate looked like it was prepared for a 2 year old. Very small amounts of only the foods I really wanted. I didn’t need to have a bite of everything. I was still able to taste my favorite pumpkin pie, this year I didn’t eat the whole thing!
